Middle of the Road

Isobel Woolley’s Middle of the Road is a body of work created through close attention paid to the act of walking and the observations that can be made en route. Taking particular note of objects collected through daily walks, Woolley carried out this process with the aim to recognise the beauty in the discarded or mundane. The resulting set of abstract photographs invites viewers to appreciate the beauty in the form, shape, texture and colour of these often-overlooked objects.
